Known as the masters of luxury assets which range from mega yachts to luxury real estate, THE FINDGROUP is a company comprised of a team of entrepreneurs that are leaders in their respective fields of selling, brokering, and delivering yachts, luxury and commercial real estate, jets, and luxury armored vehicles.
Over three decades of experience are behind CEO and Co-Founder Joel Romero and President and Co-Founder, Edward Rodriguez. Together their charisma and unique skill sets have created a solid foundation of success. They specialize in bringing luxury assets to those seeking them and are in charge of taking care of everything throughout the process. Offering a high level of experience in marketing, listing, selling, and closing both off and on-the-market assets, THE FINDGROUP’s luxury experts have developed a full-service organization.
“There are not many companies that are able to offer the four major luxury assets under one group, while being able to work together with the clients in as many different capacities as we do,” states Joel Romero, who manages the Yacht division of the company.
“In our line of business, our high-net-worth clients frequently request for us to ‘find’ various assets for them,” says Edward Rodriguez. “That’s where the name THE FINDGROUP emerged from. Our international reach and relationships allow us to locate unique assets for our clients not typically available in the mainstream marketplace.”
“We have established long-term relationships with manufacturers, consultants, marketing firms, attorneys, and specialists to name a few throughout different parts of the world that can provide the products and services that our clients expect,” states Rodriguez, who primarily manages the Real Estate division of the company.
The need to meet in person is ever-growing in the high-demand world of luxury. Romero simply states, “If you can’t meet, you will never build a true rapport.”
When the entrepreneurs of THE FINDGROUP take their clients and business associates out, here are a few of the restaurants they frequent.
Global destinations that the team recommends include 7 Portes located under the arches on upscale Isabel II in Barcelona, Spain. This beautiful, old world restaurant has been serving traditional Catalan and Mediterranean cuisine since opening its doors in 1836. On the menu are famous paellas and rice dishes like the squid ink rice and lobster paella; traditional Catalan salads that include xato, escalivada and esqueixada; hand made cannelloni; fish dishes ranging from monkfish cooked with sizzled garlic sauce to turbot in meunière sauce; seasonal vegetable dishes; and lamb chops, steaks and more. It’s a great place to eat family-style in a restaurant that exudes charm and sophistication in one of Spain’s most exciting cities.
Another popular place to take business meetings in Spain is in Cappuccino Palau March in Illes Balears. Just a minute walk away from the Royal Palace of La Almudain, this restaurant has a lively ambiance, beautiful architecture, and chic interiors. With a diverse menu that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, there’s something for every taste palette. From steak and French fries and homemade gnocchi with truffle sauce to vegetarian fare like burrata and tomatoes or leafy salads, it’s a great spot for a casual lunch or dinner meeting.
When in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Barcelona Tapas Bar is the team’s top pick for meetings. Known for its tasty Spanish cuisine the includes loaded paellas, cold and hot tapas, salads and soups, it also sets itself above the competition thanks to its rooftop views. This restaurant features a stunning waterfront view which perfectly compliments the wide variety of cocktails, sangrias, wines and beers served. Popular dishes include the paella de mariscos with fish, shrimp, clams, mussels, octopus, squid, peppers, green peas and saffron rice; jamón serrano español y pan tumaca; Gambas al Ajillo (shrimp with garlic); and the Tortilla Española with eggs, potato and white onion, served with alioli sauce.
Lastly, when at their home base in Newport Beach, California they frequent the always quality restaurant, Nobu. The legendary Nobu menu is rivaled only by the great views of the ocean at Lido Marina Village. Classic Nobu hot dishes include the black cod with butter lettuce; Chilean sea bass with dry miso; and the rock shrimp tempura. On the cold side, popular dishes are the yellowtail jalapeno; lobster ceviche; and the sashimi salad. And as for the impressive entrees, the prime ribeye with truffle butter; dover sole with crispy spinach; and the Maine Lobster with spicy Garlic or wasabi pepper are great choices.
